Our sand cast power socket eyelet is a high-strength multi-functional connection element specially designed for overhead power lines, substation insulator strings and distribution network overhead systems. The product is manufactured using precision shell sand casting technology, providing exceptional structural reliability and universal installation flexibility for the needs of power grids.
Made from high-strength nodular cast iron with an energy-optimized composition, the part is formed using a solid sand molding process with strict control of pouring temperature and staged cooling, effectively eliminating internal shrinkage cavities, porosity and other common casting defects. The one-piece cast design completely eliminates the hidden fracture risks found in traditional welded or stamped socket lugs and provides significantly higher overall stiffness, toughness and fatigue resistance. The product reliably withstands continuous variable tensile loads and torques, maintaining stable performance even in harsh operating conditions such as strong wind fluctuations, exposure to ice loads and extreme temperature changes from -45 °C to +75 °C.
The eyelet fully complies with the requirements of GB/T state standards for energy fittings. The product features a precision-machined socket structure with smooth, burr-free interior walls that allow for smooth insertion and rotation of ball pins or connecting rods, preventing stress concentrations during long-term use. The integral design allows direct replacement of traditional separate lug and pin assemblies, simplifying installation steps and reducing on-site assembly time by more than 30%. The surface is treated with hot-dip galvanizing or reinforced anti-corrosion coating, which provides high resistance to rust, abrasion and salt corrosion. Service life exceeds 35 years even in aggressive environments such as coastal areas, areas of industrial pollution and high mountain regions. The product is compatible with various types of insulator strings, support clips and fork plates, and can be manufactured with a variety of socket diameters, pin hole sizes and load ratings to meet specific design requirements. Widely used on 10-1000 kV overhead power lines, substation busbar interconnection systems and new energy connection projects, serving as a highly reliable, cost-effective and easy-to-install interconnection solution for network construction and safe operation.
