Clay sand casting is the most common and inexpensive traditional sand casting process, commonly known as wet earth casting. The main raw materials include quartz sand, bentonite clay, water and coal dust. The cohesive force created by the wet clay holds the sand grains together to form shapes. The process is divided into three categories: wet form, surface-dried form and fully dried form. Among them, the raw clay form accounts for more than 70% of industrial production. This method is widely used for the production of castings from gray cast iron, ductile iron (QT400/QT500/QT600 series), cast steel, as well as copper and aluminum castings, suitable for both single and small-scale production, as well as for mass production on automatic lines.
We start making tooling once the drawings are approved, then receive samples in 20-25 days.
We send samples to the customer for checking and re-approval. Serial production is launched according to the approved sample.
After production, we carry out testing and also accept customer inspection.
We usually use plastic bag for inner packaging and polystyrene foam to fill the gaps. Then we load them onto wooden pallets. Packaging can be customized such as cartons and OEM labeling.
After completion of all work, we will organize loading of the container in accordance with the customer’s plan.
